The Management Committee (also known just as “the MC”) is the team of people who oversee all the work People & Planet does and tries to keep the organisation working in the best interests of the network. Read about How We Work to find out more about how the MC works for, and is democratically involved, in the network.

Student Members
Tom Chance
Tom graduated from Reading University with an MA in Philosophy in 2006, having been a member of the Campaigns Forum group for four years. He is now in full time employment working as a Press and Policy Officer for BioRegional. In his 2nd year on the Management Committee Tom’s main focus will be People & Planet’s outreach work (communications, events and training). tom.chance@peopleandplanet.org

Harry Giles
Harry Giles is a student of Sustainable Development at the University of St. Andrews. He’s been particularly involved with the team developing the network-led Ethical Investment Campaign, and his other activities include rebel clowning, campaigning for the Union of Asylum Seekers in Scotland, and participating in the Anarchist Academics e-network. Harry was elected to the Management Committee at the Forum in March 2007, and has a particular focus on outreach harry.giles@peopleandplanet.org

Kate Hand

Ric Lander
Ric has recently graduated from the University of York and is now studying in Edinburgh as a postgraduate. Eilidh MacPherson
Eilidh is a postgraduate student in London currently studying for a MSc in Development Studies at LSE, having completed her undergraduate degree at Edinburgh University. In this, her 2nd year on the Management Committee, she will have a particular focus on People & Planet’s campaigns, having previously worked with Kate on Fundraising. Joe Saxton

Liana Stupples
Liana is a freelance campaigner and communicator working on environmental, poverty and human rights issues. She has campaigned for 20 years and was Policy and Campaigns Director at Friends of the Earth. Kate Graham
Kate is a partner in Triangle Consulting, which focuses on helping NGOs measure the changes they achieve. Since qualifying as a chartered accountant, she has worked in the voluntary sector for 17 years in the UK and Africa as a fundraiser, volunteer, NGO director, and as a grant maker assessor. She has a masters degree in International Policy Studies and lives in Oxford with her husband and young son. kate.graham@peopleandplanet.org
