It is absolutely outrageous that a bank, 70% of which is owned by the public, is actually funding climate change by the investment decisions that it makes. We, all of us have an opportunity to put pressure on those banks to make much wiser investments, investments that will make sure that we actually have a sustainable future. Instead of that, what is happening right now is those banks are funding dirty development, they’re funding projects which are actually exacerbating climate change not addressing it.
