What can I do?
We have the tools to make our demands heard. But it will take a new kind of campaign, with students, staff and people in developing countries joining together to defend human rights throughout global supply chains. Find out the different ways that you can be involved in the Buy Right campaign - as a student, a member of staff at a UK university or a supporter of the campaign.
Be a Buy Right Volunteer
Do you want to help fight for workers’ rights and Fairtrade on your campus? Can you help to inspire others to join the campaign by learning campaigning skills? Do you want to get trained in how to use the media, lobby the powerful and engage others? Do you want full training, a great reference, support over a year, expenses and loads of experience at running strategic campaigns? Then volunteer to be a Buy Right Activist. Have a look at this video about last year’s volunteer training days.
If you’re a volunteer for the Buy Right Campaign and want to stay in touch and swap ideas with other Buy Right volunteers around the UK then you can join the Buy Right Volunteers e-list, or for less frequent updates and news there’s the Buy Right mailing list. Make sure to find us on facebook.
