Universities Uncovered. The Tweetathon.
Students campaigning to join the Workers Rights Consortium
Between the 10 - 14 of May, spread the word about your university’s attitude towards sweatshops.
We want the truth about your university’s garment purchases to be seen by every student at your university.
Let’s get our universities to prove that their hoodies and uniforms aren’t made under sweatshop conditions. It’s as easy as one, two, tweet!
Step 1: Sign the petition below to ask your university to protect workers’ human rights by joining the Worker Rights Consortium (WRC). The WRC is an independent organisation focused on protecting the rights of workers who sew clothing and other products, particularly those bearing college or university logos.
Step 2: Tweet and Retweet your favourites from the messages below asking your university to join the WRC.
Step 3: Change your Facebook status to one of the messages below asking your uni to join the WRC. Include the petition link so it goes viral.
