Dress the P&P network

We are launching a new range of P&P t-shirts and want YOU to design them. Submit your design for the competition. The winner gets 3 free t-shirts and their art work printed across our whole range of ethical t-shirts.

Tshirt Crowd Design

Our current design. Could you re-dress our network with your art work?

We need some new clothes to wear, so submit your artwork and get your art work all over the P&P network.

We need you to create an artist’s impression of ‘the essence of People & Planet’ …to show people what we do!

You can upload a jpeg of your design below so everyone can see it. However, please see the guidelines when designing your image because if it is not done in the right way we might not be able to use your design.

Submission deadline: 20 October 2009

Our new range of Fairtrade t-shirts will be launched at Shared Planet in November 2009.

For more info email us or call Louise Cobb on 01865 245678.

Design Guidelines

  • Keep it simple
  • People & Planet logo must be on the breast (download it)
  • Single colour, outline design: design in black (no greys), but feel free to suggest a colour it should be printed in.
  • Front of t-shirt only
  • A design generic to P&P, not specific to a campaign

The all-important tech-spec!

You can do your design with a pen and paper (you’ll need to be able to scan it in) or using computer software, it’s up to you. But your design needs to be high enough quality to print.

Pen & paper

Draw with a good black pen on A4. You’ll need access to a scanner to be able to scan it in at a resolution of 300 dpi (dots-per-inch).

Photoshop / GIMP

Your “canvas” should be A4, 300dpi. This will be about 2,500 x 3,500 pixels.

Make sure you keep your original, but save a copy as a .jpg file to upload here.

Illustrator / Corel Draw / Inkscape / OpenOffice.org Drawing

These programs can create graphics that are resolution-free, which means you don’t need to worry about it as much (unless you import images/scans) until the end when you export as a PDF, EPS or JPEG. But as long as you keep your original files it’ll be fine. Please note that you need a JPEG to upload your design here.
