Shared Planet
Prepare to change the world
Shared Planet is a weekend event full of inspiring speakers, practical and informative workshops, debates, films, stalls and fun. On November 6 - 7 we’re heading to Birmingham for Shared Planet 2010
500 students gathered in Manchester in November for Shared Planet 2009. Check out what happened last year and watch this space for info on this year’s event.
Summer Gathering
The Summer Gathering is a 4 day-long training event that is a perfect blend of learning new skills and enjoying chilled-out times in the Oxfordshire countryside. This is our key event for building a strong, sustainable campaigning network where group organisers come to learn from each other and inspiring speakers.
It’s also time for sitting round a campfire swapping stories and getting excited for next year by chatting with all the amazing people in our network.
This year’s Summer Gathering happened on 27 June -30 June 2010. If you missed it this year, keep an eye out for next years event.
Summer Campaigns Day - for college and school students
Saturday June 19th is Summer Campaigns Day and it’s your chance to get inspired and learn how to make a massive difference.
We’ve teamed up with Oxfam to give you a day bursting with compelling speakers, creative campaign planning, hands-on workshops, delicious food and great company, all nestled in the magnificently summery grounds of Oxford University.
The Forum
The Forum is People & Planets main decision-making event. Students and young people get together to decide the future campaigns and direction of People & Planet, have their say, watch films, party and meet loads of new people.

Regional Events
Regional Events are a great chance to get some campaign skills training, learn about the issues and meet students from other P&P groups nearby. Watch out for these around January.
Festivals
People & Planet provide volunteer stewards and bar workers at a number of Summer music festivals. Find out more about how to become a volunteer and have fun in the mud.
