2005 market survey
PAN
UK conducted the first extensive survey of the
organic cotton market in the UK.
The
survey revealed that the market grew by 25% in 2005,
and its growth is expected to accelerate in 2006 and
2007. The sector grew significantly, with a 95% increase
in retail shops, and many new brands and labels started
to use organic cotton.
