The Secret Garden Party 22 - 25 July 2010 in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
The Secret Garden is a garden-party-gone-crazy, where mayhem, eccentricity and hedonism abound. Part of the grounds of a Georgian farm house, the location is set in a 10 acre landscaped garden, bordering a river and lake. Dancey loud sounds, acoustic stages and a chilled out vibe. As well as music there’s loads of activities: mud wrestling, skinny dipping, sock wrestling, twilight maypole dancing, raft-building, body painting. Named ‘best British music festival’ by Radio 1.

How do I get my mits on them tiks?
The tickets will go to the university group or individual who raise the most money for People & Planet this academic year.
Enter the competition:
- email us to say you want to take part
- hold your fundraising event. Get together with your People & Planet group to put on a: cake sale, gig, club night, non-uniform day, raffle, meal, fairtrade fashion show etc. Or get sponsored to do a: half marathon, cycle, head shave, trek, quit smoking, epic hitch-hike etc. Here’s lots of ideas for group or individual fundraising events.

The small print
- The prize is for fundraising events in the academic year 2009-2010
- Money must reach People & Planet by 1 July 2010. Send a cheque made out to ‘People & Planet’ to Festivals competition, People & Planet, 51 Union St, Oxford, OX4 1JP, or transfer the money online
- If a group wins the prize it’s up to them to agree which group members win the tickets
- If an individual wins the prize they can take friends, family or P&P group members to the festival.
- The winners will be announced at the Summer Gathering 27 June - 1 July 2010, but you don’t need to attend the event to win.
- Prize available to the People & Planet university network.
- The group or individual who raise the most money can choose if they want the Green Man or Secret Garden Party tickets, the runner up group or individual get the other festival tickets.
