Green Man 2008, Wednesday 13 - Monday 18 August
Despite knee deep mud we had a brillaint time and the amazing stewards remained cheerful and lovely even after hours in the rain. Thanks guys!
Set in the stunning Glanusk Park in the Brecon Beacons, Green Man is a genuinely independent festival, inspired by all things leafy and green and made out of wood, star-lit skies, fairies and folky pychodelia.
Secret Garden Party 2008, Wednesday 23 - Monday 28 July
We had a fantastic time at Secert Garden. The heat was blistering, the music was awsome, the site was beautiful and most of all the stewards were amazing. So a huge thank you to everyone who came along and worked so hard.
Reading and Leeds Festivals, Friday 22 - Monday 25 August
20 lucky bar workers whill be heading off to Reading and Leeds. Places are now full. Our bar workers will work 3 6-hour shifts in exchange for a free festival camping ticket, one meal and 2 drinks per shift and free transport from London.
Beach Break Live 2008, Sunday 8 - Thursday 12 June
Beach Break Live is the UK’s student festival, situated on a Cornish beach. People & Planet recruited bar staff for the event. The festival was a sun-drenched rip-roaring success.
Deposit
We ask volunteer stewards to pay a deposit to ensure that we provide the best possible stewarding service at festivals. Deposits are refunded within 20 working days after the festival, provided all three shifts are completed to the satisfaction of steward coordinators.
