Practical Info

What to bring

  • ID - you’ll need this for the party.
  • A sleeping mat and bag. It may be cold so please bring warm things to sleep in.
  • A torch may also be handy.
  • A toothbrush and washing things.
  • Any musical instruments you’d like to entertain us with!

Basic info

13 - 15 March 2009 at the University of Cardiff and is hosted by the lovely Cardiff P&P group.

Booking your place and registration

Each group can send 5 representatives and places are free! Volunteers such as Campaign Advocates, Regional Reps and Media & Comms volunteers don’t count in the 5 and can be extra.

You must book your place online by 9 March. At the event registration will be open Friday evening 7pm-11pm and Saturday 9-10am.

Forum Guide

Make sure you and your group have a read of the Forum Guide and discuss the proposed campaigns and agenda items before the Forum.

Accommodation

Basic mixed sex accommodation will be provided free of charge on Cathays Methodist Church Hall floor. (There will be separate accommodation available for school and college students who would like it). When you book your place please indicate whether you need accommodation for Friday and/or Saturday night.

Getting to Cardiff Uni

A useful link for all public transport connections is traveline.org.uk

Train - Check thetrainline.com or nationalrail.co.uk. Book early for cheap tickets!

Coach - National Express runs services to Cardiff from many parts of England.

The really cheap Megabus operates between London and Cardiff and stops directly outside the Cardiff Student Union.
