On September 5 and 6 People & Planet support office in Oxford will be hosting training for:
Regional Organisers
Buy Right Activists
Climate Activists (Transition Universities)
Media and Communications Volunteers
This exciting event is the key opportunity to find out about what your role will involve and get all the skills you’ll need for the year ahead. If you want to volunteer but haven’t done so yet, then take a look at our volunteering pages and then email Adam. The training is a great opportunity for our key volunteers to learn how to coordinate campaigns on a local and national level.
It’s also a good way to meet other activists from the People & Planet network and share ideas on how to move forward in the year ahead. Depending on your position you’ll learn how to run workshops, plan events and deal with the media plus many more important skills!

The training will be held in the People & Planet office and accommodation will also be provided in a “crash pad” style here too. Money for travel can be reimbursed but please do book early to try and get discounts.
The training will start at 10am on Monday 5 September, and finish at 5pm on Tuesday 6 September. Follow the directions to the People & Planet office to get here, and please do give us a ring on 01865245678 to let us know if you are coming, and if you will also need accommodation on the Sunday night.
