Which campaign is right for your group?
The Going Greener campaign has been designed for those whose universities have already met the original Go Green demands:
- Full-time environmental manager
- Publicly available environment policy
- Senior management support
- Comprehensive environmental auditing
If your uni has not yet met these demands we recommend focussing your efforts on the Go Green campaign first, before taking the next step and Going Greener. Our Going Green report has shown that the 4 key demands of the Go Green campaign need to be in place to achieve real improvements in environmental performance. Check our where your uni came in the Green League and email us gogreen@peopleandplanet.org for more guidance on which campaign direction to take.
If your group is one of 20 selected to take part in the Degrees Cooler project, you should definitely be running the Going Greener campaign, you’ll be pushing at an open door and have loads of support from People & Planet and our project partners.
