www.openair.fm is an internet community radio station based at SOAS, University of London, run mainly by stdents and volunteers. During ‘Go Green’ week our current radio programmes will be holding special ‘Green Aware’ shows. The sculpture has been envisaged and designed by the renowned artist Polyp. We need you to deliver 4 huge piles of recyclable materials to the SOAS campus in the morning. We can then spend the day bringing this image to life on the North Block Lawn

In the format of the BBCs question time, as a Green Question Time. There will be a representative from the Tories, Libdems, Labour, Green Party, James Lyoyd People & Planet Campaigns and an academic on the panel with you and the panel will be chaired by a member of the Universities debating society. Questions asked will focus on many aspects of the environment - Labour’s policy on Nuclear power, the work of NGOs, the role of the individual in tackling climate change, the strengths of the individual parties’ policies etc. Refreshments will be served after the event, which we expect shall not run on longer that an hour and a half.
