Going Greener Pledge
What happens to your Go Green projects and action group when you leave your school or college?
One of the best ways to make sure they have a lasting impact is to push your school or college to sign the Going Greener pledge. It’s a way for your Headteacher or Principal to show you they’re committed to staying on the path to a low-carbon future and carrying on you good work. The Pledge asks your school or college to publish a Carbon Reduction Plan with ambitious aims and targets for reducing its impact in all 4 key areas – waste, energy, food and transport. It should also commit the school/college to involving students in designing and implementing the plan.
The Going Greener Pledge will be ready in the Spring term, which gives you loads of time to make some great changes in your school or college.
