The Government have announced that they will increase the UK’s target for carbon reductions from 60% to 80%.
This is great news, but a loop-hole in the Climate Bill could mean none of the emissions cuts actually happen here in the UK. Instead the Government and corporations will be able to buy their way out of trouble.
Take Action: Call on Ed Miliband, the new Climate Change Minister, to close the loop-hole and strengthen the Climate Bill.
