Shared Planet 2010 - the student activism conference - is starting to shape up. It’s gonna be on 6 & 7 November, at Birmingham University. There’s loads of great stuff in the pipeline, and we can already confirm the rumours that Caroline Lucas MP will be coming up from sunny Brighton - or perhaps from windy Westminster.
Caroline is the Green Party’s first MP in the House of Commons. She is also leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, and a former MEP for the South East England region. A truly inspirational opening speaker.
I’m sure you will agree, that’s enough to light the touch paper on what will be a great event.
Hosting this year, is Birmingham University. What better place to spend the two days after bonfire night? So get yourself ready for a weekend of inspiring training, networking, great speakers, workshops, stalls, debates, films, music and fun.
Phew. Sounds good don’t it? If you’re lucky, we might even have sparklers…
