Want to get involved in Britain’s most exciting campaigning network? Want to help take action on world poverty, human rights and climate change? Want to learn some great skills? Become a People & Planet Regional Organiser!
People & Planet is now recruiting for volunteers to take on these exciting positions. Regional Organisers are the key volunteers supporting People & Planet groups. The organisers will work with each other and the support office to:
- Write and distribute a regional newsletter
- Organise a regional event with help of People & Planet staff
- Promote and help out at the People & Planet student conference ‘Shared Planet’
- Help put groups in touch with each other and communicate effectively
There are People & Planet groups across your region, full of passionate students raring to win campaigns. As a Regional Organiser, you’ll be trained to help them do just that. All you need is enthusiasm, a little time, and a passion for taking action to make things better.
The first round of training for Regional Organisers will be Friday the 11th and Saturday the 12th of June, at the People & Planet offices in Oxford.
