Josie Long confirms for Summer Gathering 2012

Award winning comedian and activist Josie Long will be joining us at Summer Gathering this year.

We are very, very excited to announce that Joise Long will be joining us all for Summer Gathering 2012.
Josie Long has made a name for herself on the comedy circuit and has preformed at Edinburgh Festival. She also and has her own show on BBC 6 Music.
Josie also manages to combine comedy with being a keen activist. She has worked with UK Uncut; preforming at occupations on March 26th 2011 and Block The Bridge. Have a listen to her discussing her experiences of activism, politics and how she helped inspire the protest song Liar, Liar.
Josie will be adding to what is an already fantastic programme. We’ve got Guardian journalist Symon Hill sharing his experiences of the media and well as training in direct action, building your group, running food co-ops and fighting sweatshops.
