LSE P&Pers enjoying their meal
Celebrate the end of a great year or term with your P&P group and mark the end of exams with a yummy treat
Organise a dinner party, a curry night, BBQ or picnic for your friends and even other societies and groups from your school, college or uni, and ask everyone to make a donation in return for the marvellous meal they eat.
All you need to do is:
- Pick a date and place
- Share out some cooking responsibilities
- Send out some invites or make some publicity.
For very little effort and organisation, you’ll be suprised how much you can raise, plus you get to meet some new people and award yourselves after a busy year of campaigning and studying!
You can even expand on this idea. Why not have a film showing after your dinner party, or a games tournament with ultimate frisbee and rounders if you’re picncing out in your local park?
It’s one way of asking for extra money from people, but still ‘good value’.
