Fairtrade campaign stall at Marlborough School
The Marlborough School in Woodstock, Oxfordshire has successfully fulfilled the general criteria of having an institutional steering group, a written Fairtrade Policy, selling Fairtrade products in all outlets, serving Fairtrade Products at all internal events and raising awareness about Fairtrade.
They have also organised events such as Fairtrade Friday teas, a Fairtrade Business Breakfast, a “Make Poverty History” Sports Day and a Global Day of Learning. The school has managed to source Fairtrade bananas through an innovative partnership with their local Co-op. In addition they are serving an impressive range of Fairtrade products, such as Geobars, Flapjacks, Cookies and orange juice, supplied by Spring Fine Foods.
