Sponsor David to cut off his 'hippy hair'

David Amos of Oxford Uni P&P is set to cut off his legendary, long and lustrous locks, all in aid of People & Planet. Help him to raise £200 by Wednesday 28 November when his hip and hippy hair will get the chop...

David says:

So yeah the hair is going. But its all in aid of a great cause. No, I’m not referring to my personal appearance. The target is £200 or more before next Wednesday (28th). Soon, I know. But that just means all the more excitement!

I’m doing this to help out People & Planet because they’ve given me great opportunities over the past 2 years. They’ve enabled me to meet ministers and MPs, go to top-quality workshops, learn loads from their campaign research, have a democratic say in the future of their network, the list goes on. The same is true of 1000s of other students.

Here’s the problem…People & Planet are almost totally dependant on grant funding. But there’s never enough grants to go round all these charities. They only have an annual budget of around £500k, which is tiny compared to campaigning charities of a comparable size.

So please help my fellow students to continue changing the world for the better. Thanks a lot for your support.
