Keen freshers sign up to Oxford Brookes P&P

Oxford Brookes People & Planet got their campaigning year off to an explosive start by holding a fantastic Freshers Fair.

Clued-up campaigners ran a well organised stall, signing up keen new members to their group.

They attracted current students and Freshers alike, with freebies, henna tattoos and campaign literature - including an ethical living guide to Oxford for students written by P&P members.

Students were also signing new RBS-Natwest action cards to pass on to RBS management. They demanded that they take responsibilty for its climate impact and switching funding from fossil fuels to renewable energy.

Make sure you are part of this growing movement - if they don’t act, we will call for a boycott of RBS-Natwest.

Many Freshers were glad to find the P&P stall:

I’m so excited to find a society that’s as passionate about people and our planet as I am.

Katy, Fresher
