Help decide the direction of P&P - Submit a proposal for the Forum 2009
The Forum is P&P's democratic decision-making event - submit your proposals by 8 December
You can now submit proposals to set the agenda for the Forum.
The Forum is P&P’s annual democratic decision-making event in which students from the network meet to discuss and debate key issues and decide the future direction of P&P’s focus and campaigns. P&P has a passionate commitment to democracy and the Forum is the main opportunity for you to give us your ideas, opinions and feedback as a member of the network.
The Forum takes place in March but the agenda for discussion is set using proposals submitted by students and staff now. As well as proposals for the new Corporate Power campaign strand you can submit a proposal on anything that you feel is an important issue linked with P&P that needs discussing.
Proposals currently being developed include ones looking at the future of the Go Green campaign and the direction of Ditch Dirty Development and how it should link to international climate change campaigning. The deadline is December 8 2008.
Proposals do have an impact!
Last year proposals included establishing a permanent staff presence in Scotland, discussion of how to expand P&P beyond the education sector and a revamp of the Action Update newsletter.
