Be an active activist
The race is on. Get ‘em while they’re hot! The Royal Parks Half Marathon is speeding towards us. Run it for P&P and give a kick start to the new campaigning year!.
It’s going to be a big one: with earth-shattering climate change on the horizon, and corporate power running rampant over human rights worldwide, People & Planet is taking action!
We’re building a team of 20 amazing runners, each aiming to raise £500 - and this is your chance to be part of it. Your support will help us continue to inspire and empower our network of grassroots activists to bring about much needed change in our world.
What will my money buy?
£250 will
inspire a group of P&Pers to make a real impact by providing them with specialist campaigns training
help new students discover their inner activist, by paying for a stall at a freshers’ fair.
£500 will
help decide the future of P&P, by funding a dozen places at The Forum
publish an edition of The Activist - a vital tool in keeping up to date with the issues and actions that effect our network, and our planet.
Your money will also be helping power the new Reclaim Education Campaign, by funding vital research and campaign materials.

Get fit, change the world
No hi-tech equipment, no energy draining gyms - all the equipment you need is powered by bread and pasta! Running is a cheap and environmentally sound way to keep fit. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never run a half marathon before - many of our runners last year were new to it too. This is your chance to take on a new challenge, discover a hidden talent, and make an incredible contribution to People & Planet at the same time,

There’s NO WAY I’ll raise all that money!
Think again. Last year, our 19 runners raised £8,500 between them - that’s an average of about £450 a-piece. Some of them raised even more than that! You’ll also get support from our experienced fundraising team - they’ll be on hand to help you get the word out and reach your target. When you do get there, you’ll be wondering what all the fuss was about!
Every penny of it will be used to strengthen our work on the campaigns that YOU care about.
