Powershift 2009. Join 1000 other young people from across the UK on the 9-12 October to learn how you can make a difference in your community.

Power Shift is a four day event in the heart of London, bringing together training from Marshall Ganz (the creator of Obama’s grassroots campaign), inspirational speakers, great entertainment and original, joined-up workshops that engage your heart, head and your hands. It is open to all young people over 16 years old.

Organised by the UK Youth Climate Coalition (UKYCC) the line up of speakers looks great, with Ian Katz, the deputy editeor of The Guardian kicking it off. For more details of the fantastic programme visit the powershift website
