Help write a vision for Copenhagen

The Government are asking students to put together a manifesto for the climate talks in Copenhagen next month, so let's tell them what we want.

The manifesto will be presented to Ed Miliband, climate change secretary before he heads to Copenhagen

The manifesto is being compiled online and will be presented to climate change secretary, Ed Miliband, after The Wave on 5 Dec, before he heads off to the climate talks in Copenhagen.

This is your chance to tell Ed what you think he should be fighting for in Copenhagen. Find out more about what’s happening at Copenhagen.

It’s simple to add your thoughts to the manifesto and you can mix and match them with ideas from other people. If you really like what someone else has come up with, simply give it your approval by voting for it. There’s even a little video to explain how to get it involved.

The National Union of Students (NUS) have joined forces with the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) to put this together. NUS are part of Stop Climate Chaos, as are People & Planet and we are both committed to joining others in the fight for a fair and just deal at Copenhagen.
