P&P students formed a giant human chain to say no to dirty coal

This Friday, 4 December, just days before the Copenhagen Climate Summit the Department of Energy and Climate Change are hosting an exclusive Question Time debate for 80 young people on climate change and the Copenhagen climate summit. Five People & Planet reps will be among those talking directly with a panel of top-level UK Government Ministers including Energy and Climate Change Secretary Ed Miliband. Young people like you are going to send a powerful message to the government that we want them to do all they can to secure a good deal to tackle climate change and protect our futures.

Watch the debate live online between 9:00am – 10:00am, on Friday 4th December.

Talk to Ed

This Saturday afternoon, thousands of people from all over the UK will march through the streets of London as part of The Wave to demand a safe climate future for all. Thousands will be there. For those that can’t make it down to London, you now have the chance to join a phone call with Ed Miliband, where he will answer your questions and hear your concerns just before the March: 10am, Saturday 5 December.

Joining a phone call with 38 degrees with Ed Miliband that morning will be a great way to still be part of the pressure. It just takes seconds to register to quiz Ed Miliband on the UK’s first public phone conference with a cabinet minister.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get your views on climate change heard at the highest level – don’t miss out!
