Organise across borders with United Students Against Sweatshops
Hate sweatshops? Want to take positive action on your campus? Join our international conference call this Sunday and help plan an international Week of Action.
After the massive success of our international day of action against Fruit of the Loom, P&P students have called for another international Week of Action to call on their universities to take action against sweatshops, by joining the Worker Rights Consortium
Companies are global. When we take action in America, Britain and Canada at the same time then we can respond globally too. But this takes planning, so we’re having a international conference call with United Students Against Sweatshops
Straight After the Week of Naked Action - To be confirmed
Come for a chance to hear about the actions that others groups took, and update others on what you did.
Will you join us?
United Students Against Sweatshops are an amazing grassroots network of students in the USA. Like P&P they have grassroots groups across the country and are led by their student network. They are a
national network of student groups working to end sweatshops and other labour abuses.
Will you be one of the groups across the country that joins the call? Let Jim know by filling in the form below, and he’ll explain all the details.
This is our second call with United Students Against Sweatshops. The last was on 7 February, and around 25 people across the US and the UK started an incredible conversation about a Week of Action. See the P&P blog for an update of that soon.
