First Ever Scottish Fairtrade University and College Conference
Edinburgh University is hosting a FREE conference aimed at getting more Fairtrade products into universities and colleges around Scotland.
Fairtrade has been growing at an unprecedented rate, but now is the time to push it even further. Whether you’re a student, lecturer, staff or just interested, come to Edinburgh on the Monday 8 March 2010, 11:00 to 17:00 to be part of the change in universities and colleges around Scotland.
The conference will include talks from:
Harriet Lamb CBE, Director of the Fairtrade Foundation
Betsy Reed, Director of the Scottish Fair Trade Forum
Palestinian Olive Oil Producer
The day will also include workshops lead by staff and students from institutions that have gained Fairtrade status as well as product stalls from local suppliers of Fairtrade goods.
The event is free to attend. As is the lunch!
