Every state-funded school in England is being offered a free Energy Display Meter thanks to a recommendation from the Zero Carbon Task Force

Energy Display Meters monitor the energy use in your school and display the readings on your school computers. This should help your Go Green campaign by:

Making sure energy use at your school isn’t ignored - if people are reminded about it everytime they use a computer, they will be much more careful about their energy use
Showing your school that being energy-efficient can help save money, as well as the planet

This fantastic initiative shows that the Department for Children, Schools and Families has accepted that climate change is now a major concern for many students, and wants to help schools become models for sustainability.
