When given the choice to campaign on either Climate Change, HIV&AIDS or Consumerism, the People & Planet network chose climate change. These results were gathered from an online poll earlier this month. The Climate Change campaign is due to end in September 2011 and we need the network to decide what our next campaign will be. We asked you to submit campaign ideas in December and received some amazing entries. These ideas were then discussed by the Management Committee and analysed to determine the strongest campaign themes.

Climate Change, HIV&AIDS and Consumerism were the three strongest campaign suggestions and these have now been worked up into full proposals to be presented at the Forum. This coming weekend, students from across the People & Planet network will be coming together in London to decide the future of People & Planet. There are still places available, so book yours now to have your say on our next campaign.

The Forum (19 - 21 March) is being held in Camden, it’s an amazing opportunity to meet other students from the network, learn more about People & Planet, be involved in big decisions and influence the future of the UK’s largest student network campaigning to end global poverty, defend human rights and protect the environment. There are some exciting decisions to be made this year, and there will be fun social activities going on throughout the week to make sure this is an event to remember.
