Blackpool Launch Green Week Competition

Blackpool and Flyde College have launched a competition for where students can win £250 for the best Go Green Week Event.

Students at Blackpool and the Flyde college will have the opportunity to win £250 worth of high street vouchers for organising the best Green Week event. The event must take place between the 5th and 9th of March 2012 which is when Blackpool and the Flyde will hold their Green week.

The events will be judged on how well they engage people in green issues, the quality of their publicity and the clarity of their message.The competition was launched at their sustainability fair, which saw environmental groups from across the country set up stall in the college, including everything from making tasty meals from leftovers, to tips on how to grow your own vegetables.
