Avid supporter of Fairtrade fashion Lisa Butcher is joining us for the day.

Yes, that’s right, Lisa Butcher the world famous supermodel, TV presenter on ‘What not to Wear’ and Fairtrade supporter is going to be joining us for our Summer Campaigns Day on June the 19th.

Lisa will be explaining what drives her to campaign for Fairtrade cotton and present prizes for the Wear Fair fashion show competion as well as attendance certificates.

Lisa recently spearheaded the Fairtrade cotton campaign during Fairtrade Fortnight:

“We live in a fast paced, sometimes superficial world where image is so important, and many of us don’t take the time to think where the cotton in the clothes we buy comes from. I wanted to find out if there was an alternative way of doing things, like Fairtrade, where everyone wins and we can also help the environment.”

Our Summer Campaigns Day is for sixth form and college students. It’s your chance to get inspired and learn how to make a massive difference.

The day will be bursting with compelling speakers, creative campaign planning, hands-on workshops, delicious food and great company, all nestled in the magnificently summery grounds of Oxford University.
