Nominate yourself to be on the People & Planet Management Committee!
People & Planet’s Management Committee (also known just as “the MC”) is the team of people who oversee all the work we do, making sure that People & Planet is the best it possibly can be.
It’s a great opportunity to be involved in the running of the largest student network in Britain campaigning to end world poverty, defend human rights and protect the environment.
I would recommend it to anyone who wants to help shape the direction the organisation grows in. The fact that students have decision-making power for the organisation and that the network is run on democratic principles is one of the things that makes People & Planet so special.

How to Apply?
To nominate yourself send an email to universities@peopleandplanet.org or fill in this form. We’ll then send you a few questions to answer which people will use to decide who they vote for.
The positions are open to all current students and will last for two years (it doesn’t matter if you graduate this year). Take a look at the role description too. We are currently recruiting 3 new student members, to be in post from Spring 2012 until Spring 2014.
If successful, you’ll be a fully-fledged member of the MC and join the team at four meetings each year with travel and expenses covered by People & Planet.
