Interactive Online Learning Courses
At People & Planet we have developed a sector-leading approach to education. Our online learning courses have had huge success in the past in engaging and empowering young people to become active global citizens. In 2011 we are running two new courses exploring and taking action on Climate Change and Ethical Fashion.
Write to React
Over five weeks students will explore the global issues of Climate Change or Ethical Fashion through online research, multimedia and active learning. Each week young people will work through an interactive lesson plan, learning how to create their own blog where they will critically respond to online activities. Take a look at the blogs from last years’ highly successful course.
Having learned about the global issues, students will decide on and then take appropriate action engaging, developing critical thinking and political literacy skills. Each participant will be able to choose between creating a short film using photos, writing to their MP or making and distributing a petition to positively influence the behaviour of others within their school or college.

- The courses are aimed at post-16 learners
- The course costs £10 per student for the entire 5 weeks
