Exciting Volunteering Opportunity

New opportunity to work with the Redress Fashion Working Group, gain excellent media skills, and make a big difference to the workers rights and environmental impact of Topshop

Do you enjoy promoting ideas and vision to the media or would like to learn how? Do you want to change conditions for workers in the global supply chain whilst getting great media experience? Do you have on average, 2-3 hours a week to spare? You could be the next member of the Redress Fashion Working Group. The Redress Fashion Working Group is an exciting new form of campaigning for People & Planet as the coordination of the entire national Redress Campaign has been devolved to student members of our network.

Already they’ve done brilliantly, pulling off a great action at Topshop’s big London Fashion Week show, keeping the pressure on Topshop and getting loads of sympathetic media attention from publications like The Guardian, The Tribune, New Consumer and Futura Magazine.

Now we’ve got Topshop, and their disgraceful effect on workers and the environment, on the run, will you help us in our next actions, by helping to coordinate our media effort. For more information email Jim or call on 01865 245678.
