Sustainable Futures
Students in Scotland sharing ideas!
Welcome to People & Planet’s brand new project in Scotland: Sustainable Futures. Over the next year, we will be organising several exciting events and providing new online tools to bring students from universities and colleges across Scotland together to share ideas and exchange skills
What is the project?
Two members of staff based in Edinburgh will be supporting student associations and societies in universities and colleges to share ideas for sustainability projects and activities for their campus. These activities could be anything from your campus food co-op project to your campaign for a sustainable procurement policy.

Organising exciting networking and sharing events throughout the year including the Green Ideas Den event at Jewel & Esk College on 21 April.
Supporting a Transition Ideas wiki to share skills and knowledge. This an online bank of idea for student-led sustainability projects. It is a place to share, find and discuss resources on practical schemes and campaigns that will make your university or college a greener and fairer community.
Setting up volunteering opportunities for students to boost their CVs and have fun in the process!
