Building Groups from Scratch was a full day’s training to give key organisers in Scotland the skills and confidence to build and grow a group at their institution.

On Saturday the 21st of April over 80 college students came together from across Scotland to Jewel & Esk college to improve their CVs, learn new skills and give their coursework the edge. Students from 12 different colleges across Scotland were also able to show-case and pitch their ideas and were awarded funds towards their sustainability projects as part of the People & Planet Green Dragons’ Den competition.

Students and staff members from universities & colleges across Scotland came together for a weekend conference at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. Delegates were able to attend a packed programme of workshops and speakers and network and exchange ideas on sustainability and social justice projects.

Students from across North-East Scotland braved the cold to come together at Aberdeen University to swap tips, exchange ideas and share best practice on everything from Food Co-ops to Ethical Investment.
