Around 118 students and staff members from universities & colleges across Scotland came together at the end of Go Green Week for a weekend conference at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow on the 11th of 12th of February 2012.
Delegates were able to attend a packed programme of workshops and speakers and network and exchange ideas on sustainability and social justice projects and campaigns on their campuses. Sessions covered topics such as the tar-sands, transition projects, workers rights, getting green jobs, radicalising your curriculum and engaging your community. The event also included workshops from the NUS & CASP ‘Transition on Tour’ project and the People & Planet regional democracy event where students were able to make decisions on People & Planet’s future campaigns.
