Shared Planet this year is going to be big but with your help we can make it massive!
We want every student in the UK to know why Shared Planet is going to be the student campaigning event of the year. By getting your friends, family, teachers, lecturers to come along you can help to make sure that we inspire and skill up hundreds more young people to take control of their future and make a positive difference to the worlds biggest and most urgent problems.
Here is everything need to know to help get the word out:
- Change your profile picture to the Shared planet logo (below) and set your status to ‘Going to P&P’s massive student gathering about poverty & human rights - you should too!’
- Join the Facebook event and invite your friends
- Put up a poster in your school/college/uni, student union, local cafes and libraries. Email the team to get hold of some.
- Talk to everyone about Shared Planet and why its going to be amazing
- Send a press release to your local paper or radio station
- Do a shout out about the event in a lecture, seminar or in assembly
- Forward the e-flyer (below) to all of your friends
- Contact your the paper/radio station at your school/college/uni and get them to run a story on Shared Planet
