Open Space Sunday
Participants create their own agenda
Participants barter over open space slots during the Market Place
On Sunday, there are 3 hours set aside for ‘open space’ discussions. This will all take place in the Great Hall in the Aston Webb building, right at the centre of the campus. Open Space means that you can talk about whatever you want with the other people at the conference. This is a unique opportunity for students and young people from across the UK to come together and work out what we are going to do about the challenges facing us. Whether you want to talk about a campaign, get tips on running your group, chat about how to build our national movement - or anything else - this is a fantastic chance to have the conversation you want to have, with the people you want to have it with.
You can host a conversation if you want, or you can take part - or you can wander round between them. If you do want to propose a conversation, you don’t need to do anything until the day - you just need to stand up at the beginning of the day, and say what it is you want to talk about - everything will be explained when you get there.
After Shared Planet, we will upload photo’s of the flipcharts you use to record your conversations, so that you can continue the conversation in the weeks to come.
So join the conversation - we’ll see you at Shared Planet.
