People & Planet has inspired thousands of students to speak up and run campaigns to make a difference on issues like human rights and climate change within their own schools and colleges. We support the formation of student-led groups to raise awareness and lobby for change. We encourage students to think critically, to explore the world around themselves and to be the change they want to see. Citizenship
Active Global Citizenship is about students taking the lead on challenging injustice and making a positive difference. People & Planet can provide you with training on how to empower your students to come to their own conclusions about the world around them and to take group decisions and action to make positive change. FE Tutors
As part of a project funded by DfID (The Department for International Development), we are offering training to staff and tutors at Further Education Colleges in London and the East Midlands. The training is free, delivered on-site at your college and will be tailored to your staff’s needs and timetables. To kick-start your college’s student engagement, the course includes three workshops for students about taking positive action on a global issue, campaign materials and ongoing support from a staff member in our support office.
