Job and internship opportunities
People & Planet are keen to help you find voluntary work and paid employment that fit with the skills and experience you developed as a volunteer and with your interests.
Ethical Careers: If you are interested in developing an ethical career then visit ethicalcareers.org to find information, advice and debate about the expanding range of ethical careers; including opportunities in charities (non-profit organisations), the public sector and business.
People & Planet internships: Want to get your foot on the first rung of the career ladder but need a few more skills and a bit more experience? A People & Planet paid internship may be the perfect opportunity for you! Each summer we recruit paid interns to work an 11 month contract - watch these pages for future opportunities.

Volunteer opportunities: If you’d like to progress with your volunteer experience and try something else then there is lots of opportunity out there. People & Planet work with two organisations specifically dedicated to volunteering opportunities for young people, Vinspired and Do-it.org.

Systems of support
People & Planet provide one-on-one tailored support for all our volunteers. You will have a support buddy who will deliver your training and be there for you to assist and provide guidance as and when you may need it. We also provide opportunities for you to get to know other volunteers who you can share your experiences with. You’d be surprised by how you can help each other.
If you are unable to reach your support buddy then you can get in touch with Adam, the People & Planet Volunteer Coordinator. Adam is always happy to help and answer any questions that you may have. Feel free to give him a call on 01865 245678 or send him an email.
Volunteer accreditation
People & Planet provide an opportunity for volunteer accreditation as part of our volunteering programme. This will help you to illustrate the work that you have done as a volunteer - giving formal recognition of your achievements. It looks fantastic on your CV and employers love it!
People & Planet offer the Youth Achievement Award Scheme and will provide you with support through this whole accreditation process. If you’d like to be volunteer accredited then just let us know by filling out the comment box below or telling your support buddy - we’ll help get you started.
