Hanna was a member of the People & Planet group at St Andrews when she made a last-minute decision to apply for the role of Regional Organiser for Scotland

“Volunteering for People & Planet was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I felt a little out of the water to begin with, but as soon as I’d met the staff at the office, had my training and met all the fantastic people I’d be working with, I was desperate to get stuck in!

“Without question, the best part of the role is the inspiring, passionate and unique people you meet along the way. I have learnt loads from this role and gained so much confidence in myself and in the ability of students to really make a difference.”
