Set up a Waste Action Group

First you need a group of people who will take on the challenge to reduce waste. Include students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff, such as the caretaker. Get the local council involved, they will have ideas, resources and recycling schemes that you could join. Aim to meet at least once a term to plan activities and monitor the impact.
