Step 1: Get others inspired and involved

Most young people don’t know about the terrible conditions their college clothing was produced under. It is important to raise awareness about this issue in your college so more people understand these problems, and to gain support for your campaign.

Your college are is more likely to take you seriously and do what you want if you have lots of support from other students so this is really important.

There are loads of fun ways in which you can increase awareness of the issue in your college and build support from other students.

Some of the best ways to do this are to organise fun events or interesting presentations that attract people’s attention to the issue…

1. Get people to sign a petition. Your college is more likely to do what you want them to if you can show you have the support of many students. A petition is a great way to do this. The best way to get signatures for a petition is at an event or assembly, or on a stall. Print out our sample petition to get started straight away.
