People & Planet’s Green League is the only comprehensive and independent league table of UK universities ranked by environmental and ethical performance. It is compiled annually by the UK’s largest student campaigning network, People & Planet, and is published on 11 June 2013 in the Guardian.

We need YOU to help us spread the word about this year’s Green League results. There is plenty of scope for you to pick up new skills and to be creative.

Your blog could feature in the Guardian
Could you write a short blog of around 400 words or create a vlog (video blog) about your University’s results? It will feature on the front page of our website and could also be featured on the Guardian Students page.

1. Find out how green your University is
First things first, you need to understand how well or badly your university has done so you can comment on it. Check out your institution’s ranking and individual scorecard (click on their name in the league table on 11 June) to reveal where progress still needs to be made and what you could be celebrating.
2. Get sharing memes!
Download the media pack to get all the template memes and adapt with your universities’ People & Planet Green League 2013 score (out on 11 June). To use the same font as we have, download Source Sans Pro.
A meme is an image and some text conveying your message which catches people’s attention on the internet. This is a really effective way to spread the word and tell your side of the story through social media.

3. Social Media Storm
