Universities committed to divesting from the border industry

So far 1 UK university has committed to divest from the border industry. For this campaign, we recognise a full divestment as the absence of investments in any of the 70 companies on the Border Divestment List. We currently recognise a commitment to screen companies involved in Border Security and Control, Detention and/or Deportation as a partial divestment from the Border Industry.

If you want to get your uni on this list of victories for the migrant justice movement, check out the Divest Borders page for more info on the campaign and how to get involved on your campus!

October 2022 Cardiff Metropolitan University becomes the first university in the UK to divest from the border industry
