Catalysts for Social Change: People & Planet's regional Organisers Training

We’re looking for students across the UK and Ireland who have a passion for tackling injustice, a knack for organising events or experience in delivering training!

Want to help support student activists taking action on workers rights, climate justice and migrant rights? Or to connect students in your region to build bigger and stronger movements for social change?

We’re currently recruiting for Regional Organisers – students who help People & Planet to develop and strengthen our student network through training students and running events in their region. We’re looking for students across the UK and Ireland who have a passion for tackling injustice, a knack for organising events or experience in delivering training!

I have learned so much about the place of student mobilizing in the context of movement building, how to organise and promote successful events, and how to impart important strategic campaigning skills to win changes for social justice across universities in the UK!

The training will cover facilitating training workshops, running great events, building movements for collective liberation and much more! You’ll also have the chance to meet other Organisers in your region, and start planning to host an inspiring Regional Event!

Regional Organisers stay with us for a minimum of one year, but many keep their roles for much longer. The deadline to apply to be a Regional Organiser is midnight, July 16.
